The three text edit parts of the window are:

• Comment
• Old source text, as found before the update
• Current source text

The icon buttons have the same function as in the Translation Edit Window.

Labels

• Read-only. Mark a string as read-only and update each translation from its translation window. N.B. The read-only labeling is a one way operation. The mark read-only can be cleared in the translation window.
• Hide. Some strings do not need to be translated. You can mark a string as Hidden and after an update in each translation Window these strings are no longer visible in the translation window. To unhide strings follow the same procedure: first clear the mark Hidden, then update the strings in each translation window.
• Changed. Marks differences between old and new source text.

Marking the strings as Read-only or Hidden in the source window and updating the translations is useful when you have a single source and multiple translations.
